Duchesnay contributes $25,000 to the Wabano Mamawi Aboriginal Health Care Center located in Vanier

Blainville, September 6, 2012 - On the occasion of a fundraising gala recently held in Ottawa, Duchesnay announced a $25,000 contribution to support the expansion of the Wabano Mamawi Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal health care located in Vanier.

Duchesnay Executive Vice-President Éric Gervais stated that the company is proud to become a partner of the aboriginal community by supporting a project aimed at improving health care to the population. ‟As a pharmaceutical company specialized in the development of safe medications during pregnancy and therapeutic options for women throughout the different stages of their life, we are particularly pleased that aboriginal women of the Ottawa region have access to modern and culture-bound health care."
